Project 2 : Reflection

From this group project, we are required to go for a side visit and do the detail of the side in a report. Plan, Elevation, Section, Furniture Detailing are required along with our understanding to structure if building and building services. In my group, I am doing the drawing part with another groupmate, I am doing the Floor plan, mezzanine floor plan and detail of staircase. I have learnt the requirement of drawing and from this assignment I may improved my drawing skill and knowledge. My group members are helpful and hardworking on this project which I am very appreciate to part of the team to finish this project.

SINGAPORE VISIT OBSERVATION TASK

Last Friday, I went to Singapore for our semester 3 study trip. We are required to do an observation to the 3 types joinery which are Bolt & Nuts, Welded and Riveted Joinery. We were asked to find suitable interior fit-out elements that using the method and sketch it on our sketchbook. For the journal, we need to take photos and paste it to the sketch journal and sketch minimum of 2 drawings on a page.

Group Assignment Revision 1

After we have submited our group assignment, which required us to find an assembly drawing furniture and do about the Plan, Section, Elevation and Blow up detail, and for now we are required to give comment to another group which they will also do it to my group. The picture below is the redo-blow up detail, its a correction of our group assignment followed by the other group's comment. The mistake we did in group assignment are the writing form, which should be in Architecture form in capital letter, and we did'nt mention well about how the wood panel in Detail A fix on the stell frame.
