VISUAL DIARY TASK : INTERIOR PHYSICAL COMPONENTS

This week we learned Physical Component.We are required to practice basic & quick sketching and rendering technique.

1st of the physical component we learned is Chair. Chair is a raised surface used to sit on. Normally for use by one person. Chairs are most often supported by four legs and have a backrest but it also can have three legs or could have a different shape.

Upholstered seat is a seats with padding, springs, webbing, and fabric or leather covers such as sofa.

The 3rd physical component is Table. Table is a form of furniture with a flat and satisfactory horizontal upper surface used to support objects of interest, for storage, show, or manipulation.

The last physical component we learned is Storage. Storage is a cabinet box-shaped with doors or drawers to keep things.

After that, we are required to sketch the physical components from Boxes. A box can represent many things becoming the building blocks of more complex object.

Assignment : Sketching - Tonal Values

After we learnt how to sketch, we are required to sketch 6 things by using the 4 sketching technique, there are Hatching,Cross hatching, Scribbling and Stippling. We can learn how to use the sketching technique to draw the things around us.

SketchNote

The topic of the lesson is about SKETCHNOTE. Rich visual notes created from mix of handwriting, drawings, hand-drawn typography, shapes, and visual elements like arrows, boxes and lines. Sketchnotes are Visual Maps , sketchnoting can visualize the things in your mind. Sketchnote built from Meaningful Thoughts and Ideas. The 5 Basic Elements are CIRCLE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, LINE and DOT. Everything you want to draw can be created with these 5 elements.

Figure out your favourite ways to draw stick figures, and have fun!


Beside that, the 6 Fundamentals of visual notetaking are also very important. they are LETTERS, BULLETS, FRAMES, CONNECTORS, SHADOWS and PEEPS. The 6 fundamentals are very useful on sketchnoting.
